Replacement Exhaust H section in Polished Stainless Steel |
| FITTING INSTRUCTIONS |
| 1.
Remove end cans/silencers.
|
|
2. Attempt to remove nut and H section from the original down pipes.
|
| 3.
If number 2. fails, i.e. the nut is seized solid or the original H
section is set solid in the front down pipe - NO PROBLEM!!
Cut through with a hack saw (or grinder) where the chrome down pipe
meets the steel section.
|
| 4.
Fit our pipe OVER the original nut onto the 45mm chrome down
pipes and clamp up. JOB DONE!!
|
| 5.
Refit the cans. Clamp up and then lock up the Balance pipe
clamp.
|
| 6.
Have a beer and stand back and admire your handy work.
|
| 7.
Thrash the arse out of the bike loving that new deeper sound now
that you have a pretty, shiny, formed pipe rather than those
original 11 pieces of off-cut welded together by a robot!!
|
| 8. And finally, gloat in the fact you have spent a lot less than the £640 which is the listed price at the Yamaha Centre/Chelsea for an original replacement part. |
